Scouting At Home

Much can be accomplished with just a little effort in your scouting progress. Please consider setting aside a little time each week towards Rank Requirements and Merit Badges. Troop 17 leadership is always available via email and virtual calls to help aid in this progress as well as pass off requirements.

Rank Requirements:

  • Choose/click on your next rank or one beyond
  • See the Requirements & Download Worksheet
    • Research can be done using the BSA Handbook or Internet search
    • Complete (on the worksheet) any requirements that ask to "Describe" or "Explain"
    • Upload any worksheets or link videos via the Troop Requirement Upload System.
    • Practice and memorize those requirements that can be passed-off virtually or in person

ScoutBook Progress App:

• Click on the Scoutbook link
• Parents should already have access to this portal (Contact us if this is needed)
  • Helpful YouTube Video Guide for parents & scouts
    • Please update your scouts Profile Page & Photo
• This App is new and designed for parents/scouts to see progress as well as check-off completed requirements (at home & on your own). When completed, the leadership team will then be able to pass-off/confirm these requirements when supported information is supplied or discussions (face to face or virtual) are accomplished.
